| Hello all! Carter Raymond Mauk is officially scheduled to make his arrival on October 23, 2005. Of course he could always change his mind and decide to show up early, which I'm sure will be the case since I do not have a back up plan if I go into labor while Jason is out of town! We live a 30 minute drive, 35 minute ferry ride, & another 20 minute drive to the hospital....:hair_rais I think I'll be making some phone calls tomorrow to see if I can recruit some friends to be on standby!! Anyway, just wanted to make my annoucement about my little guy's pending birth!

| I'm a little confused. Your signature says that your due date was Sept. 23rd., but you're being induced on Oct. 23rd? A month later? Anyway... congrats!!!!! Tanya |

| Ashley, Congrats on expecting! March 17 was my due date with Ben. However he was a week late. I'm curious where you found the name Carter. We had never really heard it much and now I've met two and have heard other people tell me its on their baby names list.... Same thing happened with the name Benjamin...they're everywhere!

| Ever since we got married, I have been searching and looking for baby names. My favorite for a really long time was Konner for a boy, and Khloe for a girl, well my aunt and uncle named their son Conner, so that's gone, and there is now a crazy little girl at our church named khloe, let's put it this way, you know animal on mupphet babies?? Enough said. I think I found Carter on one of the baby name websites, I don't even remember, our list is so long!!!! LOL!!!! You know what's funny, one of my friends and I were talking about baby names and she told me she liked Carter, and I told her oh that's on our list (this was before I was pg) No big deal. Then about a week before I found out I was pg, my sister in law came up to me and said she had a dream I had a little boy and we named him Carter!!!!! SO that made us like the name even more!!! Well, then when my friend found out I was pg, I told her about the dream and how we are thinking about Karter and she said "you can't steal that, that's my name, I hope you have a girl now" I was in shock!! How rude!!!! I told her from the start that name was on our list!!!! Girls can be so crazy I swear!!!! |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Girls are totally nuts. John and I were engaged for 4 years, and had our date set for over 2. About 8 months before we were to be married one of my best friends tells me that she is getting married, and that they were going to have it 2 weeks before ours. She told me that I couldn't use her church (even thought it was my church growing up too), that she was using blue so that shouldnt be my color. Later she asked me what my scripture was, I told her and she said great. At the ceremony they used our scripture. IT was crazy!! |

| Name your baby whatever the hell you damn well please. It's YOUR baby, name him/her what you want. We accepted NO input from anyone when it came to naming our boys. We came up with the names all on our own, and didn't tell anyone until we'd decided. When we did tell, that was that, and there was no going back and we didn't give a hoot what anyone thought or said. |
