| CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm sooo excited for you! What a wonderful time to have a baby! Once piece of advice... get your sleep now. Pretty soon you'll realize what a valuable commodity it is. Too bad we don't have larger "sleep banks" and could store up rest to use during the first few months after they're born (ha! ha!). But seriously - it's great and I couldn't be happier for you! Take care, Tanya |

| Just a little update on me girls. Well a couple weeks ago when I was 4w3d, I started having some cramping on my left side, so of course I start freaking out!!!! We go to urgent care on Saturday because I was going to be gone camping the whole next week. They check all my blood and everything comes back great, then they sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound, they did an ultrasound and didn't see anything, not even a sac...but they said it was just too early and no need to worry. So I feel relieved for the most part, then a couple weeks later when I was 6w1d, I started having those cramps again only on my left side, and I started having shoulder pain, so they told me to go to ER because those are both signs of an ectopic pregnancy. I am kinda freaked out, but know in the back of my mind it's not that. So we go to ER, they violate me to the max!! LOL!! I even had to have a cathedar!!! I hated it!!! SO, anyways we were there for 7 hours and after the ultrasound, the doc came in and said they saw the baby and the heartbeat, it's not ectopic, but they found a subchorionic hemorrhage, and that I will most likely miscarry. He put me on bedrest and said I would start to bleed within the next few days and that would indicate the beginning process of the miscarriage. We were so sad, but for some reason didn't totally believe it. Maybe denial. So the following monday I still hadn't started bleeding. I made an appt with my reg OB, I love him. We went in and told him what happened, he said "what, that is normal, it happens all the time, and the hemorrhage will dissolve and go away on it's own" I was in so excited!! He checked everything out and said everything looked great, then scheduled me for another US on Thursday. So last Thursday we went for my US, we got to see the little one and the heart beating strong!! It was amazing, it's about 1/2 inch long!!!! They said the hemorrhage is about the size of half of a pea, and to not worry. Craziness huh?!!!!! they also found out that my left side cramping is from a cyst I have on my ovary which is normal too. Jeez, all that worrying for nothing!! So everything is going great now and I have my next US at 12 weeks along on Sep. 2. |

| I'm so glad things worked out well for you! In the beginning every little thing can be scary! Soon, though you'll be through your first trimester and can breath a little easier! St. Paddy's day was Ben's due date (He was a week late, though)
