Default Baby jealousy, I got it bad!!

I got to get off of this section of the forum. I'm sitting here at work and have starting getting the following symptoms since opening the baby section:
Flushed cheeks
Sweaty palms
Butterfly stomach

I think I got it bad, and DH wants to push this step off for another 5 years, or more, or never! I'd like to start trying in 2 years. I'm going to pretend this section doesn't exsist, well except to see new baby pictures.

There's a bunch of gals on my mommy chat board who's little ones are approaching their first birthdays, and they're all like "Oh, I don't know if I want another one or not, but they're not a baby anymore......"

One girl IS actually trying for baby #3 now! Oiy, no thanks. 2 is PLENTY for me. I don't think I'll ever get the 'Baby Bug' again. All I have to do is remember being pregnant, the deliveries, and those first sleepless months and that's enough for me to remember to take my pill EVERY night! Course, I can say that now, because I've got my two little darlings

Let's see some more of those pregnancy tickers ladies!!

Don't worry--I give it two years and then he'll be ready. I'm telling you, that's the longest about any one I know goes before getting pg. Of course, I live in Utah, but still. After 2 years people get bored of each other and then they either get a cat or pg.

Well we already got the cat, so we're on the right track. His mom suggests "tricking him". She says this as a joke to get my husband all riled and it works everytime.

My rollercoaster "PMS" emotions are messing me up today. Possibly the cause for some of those "symptoms". Good thing DH is out of town on a 4 day, I need the space.

I totally read that as they either get a cat or a pig. which is funny in and of itself but more so because john and I want to get a potbellied pig one day. maybe we'll do it to put off kids

we've been pretty successful at "putting off kids" all it takes is asking yourself -> do you still wanna travel and be selfish with DH time & your space OR are you ready to settle and take care of little dirty things that pick their noses & start talking back in no time and hate you during their teen years with little to no support (dh always gone)?? hahaha

granted, that's totally IMO and I know it's not always like that, everyday is different & has a special uniqueness to it - but unless your ready for to stay grounded while DH flies all over and unless your sure the marriage is solid & can tackle the complete lifestyle change, get a cat & start your baby years with a dog!

sometimes i equate having kids to buying things... when I buy a trinket, I always ask myself "am i REALLY going to dust this thing"... so i do the same thing when i'm having a "oh this baby is SO cute" day. I put it in my mind that babies do grow up! babies are SO cute so you won't eat them.. just like kittens!

My thing is that i want to be able to say "I did everything that "I" wanted to do"...so far, i'm on track!

I'm thinking another year for myself to get the traveling bug out of my system (still have quite a travel list) and we'll probably "be ready" to tackle it & have our own little 1/2 black, 1/2 white green eyed wonder walking around!
