Krisite-
Hey, what's the deal with the babycenter site? Is it mothers of airline pilots who sometimes feel like single parents?

nope, it's typically the wives/mom's who feel like they are single parents - it could be the stay-at-home husbands too...

but from what I hear/have learned.. most of the wives/mom's out there that have pilots for husbands feel like they're parenting all alone because they have routines they follow on a daily basis with the kids.. and then pilot comes home and throws out the routine.. so wife has to erect the routine each time pilot goes to work thereby feeling like a single parent when a visitor comes to the house - does this make sense kinda??

it's not supposed to work that way.. it depends on how things go in *your* family life and how they work out best for the situation.

the new babycenter thread is back up and running.. i don't know what happened to the old one - could be that it had too many threads and needed pruning (ie: cleaning). but there are some women posting up there again looking for the same thing we all are "support from those that can relate" just like this website provides.
