Default awwww.....

Jo, is that your doggie? he/she is such a cutie!!!

I used to have a cocker spaniel - her name was freeway (yes, after the dog in "hart to hart").

it's funny, but about a year after getting her, my mom noticed none of us kids were doing what we were supposed to/said we'd do to take care of the dog (eat/walk/play etc) and she ended up doing most of the stuff.. well, one day, she said she got tired of it all and of trying to get us to take care of the dog - so she & my dad put the dog in the paper (free to a good home). after interviewing folks, they chose one and away went freeway. after just 2 days of her being gone, my mom couldn't stand it and went to get her back...we came home from school one day and poof, there was freeway! all ours again.

altho, now that i think about it, i wonder if they gave hte dog to some friends for a few days just to teach us a lesson.. never thought about it till now! but you never know!

that dumb dog - my dad would say... hahaha

Thanks Kristie!
That is my dog. His name is Case, his AKC name is Sir Winston Casey. I bred him in the past but now he's just my sweetheart. He's my pride and joy and my savior when DH is gone. We have another dog, she is a terrier mis of some kind, her name is Darcie, she is VERY attached to Bill and has a harder time than I do when he leaves.
I swear she knows when he's leaving everytime she sees him rolling his bag to the front door. It's so sad.

my cats act like htat when doug's leaving! one of them is apparently really ticked off at him cuz she's pee'd twice in his travel bag now...he threw the old one out the first time (it was a really old bag anyways and he was due for a new one).. but now, she's gone in his new one and it was ALL over the place! we have odorzout sitting in it right now hoping to get the odor out of it, but other than that and buying a steam cleaner, i dunno how we're gonna get it cleaned so that when he travels, all his clothes don't smell like pee!

I kept telling him not to leave his bag laying down flat but did he listen to me? nooooooo....

oh my gosh no way! I hear cat pee is pretty hard to get out huh? Hopefully it works, and I bet next time Doug won't leave it flat on the floor!

When I was growing up we had a cat that pee'd in the car everytime we went to the vet. You can imagine how the car smelled on hot sunny days. Anyway, we heard that sliced apples did the trick. We cut up a few apples and tossed them in the back where the pee was. If memory serves me correctly, it worked. You may want to try closing some apples up in his bag for a few days.....just a thought.
