I need puppy training help! Please!

Hi, I'm Debbie, a new member. We are getting a puppy next month (she will be 14 weeks old then) who is now 8 weeks. The breeder and her husband who is a professional dog trainer highly suggest crate training. If their area is too big they tend to pee in one corner and sleep in the other. Can you try a search for the American Kennel Club website. I believe they have lots of info on training and you might be able to find a local club who have references on how to train or other info. We let our breeder keep the pup an extra 6 weeks to crate train and potty train. I don't think I could do it myself with my hubby gone 50% of the time.
I have a 2.5 year old girl and I can't give you advice cuz I'm learning as I go. LOL! It's not easy is it. At least you can talk English with your kids! Good luck and let me know how it goes. If I get any specific websites, I'll forward them to you.
