Default Aaarrghhhhhhhhhhh Pushed back again!

I had a doctor's visit today, everything is looking fine. But according to last week's ultrasound my due date has been pushed back yet again, now I'm due March 25.

To think I originally thought my date was going to be March 2nd! Geez. I hope it doesn't get pushed back again, I want it to be over with soon enough as it is, I can't stand having my dates pushed back time after time!

WOW! how come your due dates are being pushed back? do they base it on the size/weight of the baby or how do they base their prediction?

The ammended dates are based on the measurements that the ultrasounds have seen. Since I'm not entirely sure of when 'it' happened, the measurements are the best judge of a true due date. Some women know without a doubt the day their babies were concieved, in that case the docs go by the dates the mom gives them. Unless the u/s measurements are WAY off or something. I don't have the benefit of knowing that date for sure..... I didn't do the whole 'charting' thing, and I had just gone off the pill so that can take a while to get your cycles back to normal.

Really, I think we just got lucky with the timing. It's just frustrating to have to wait longer. I hate being pregnant!! (I Love my babies, hate being pregnant)

The good news is--if you can call it good news--the baby is still going to come when it's going to come so had the Dr's NOT pushed your dates back, you might have thought you were like 3 weeks overdue and opted for an induction when really it wasn't time yet. Not that that is MUCH of a consolation prize, but maybe a little one? I hope it goes by quickly for you!
