Default Update

Hi everyone. I just wanted to check in with you guys since I haven't been around in a while.

I started bleeding the other day and we found out Tuesday that I miscarried. We went in for an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat.

On the upside, though. Our doctor has given us the go ahead to start trying immediately, so that is what we plan to do.

Jason is home until Monday evening, so I probably won't be around again until then.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts. We have our ups and downs, but mostly we are doing well and have a positive outlook.

Now if only we could figure out when I may ovulate!

I hear babywishes.com has OPKs that are reasonably priced and work very well. We didn't have to use them, but a lot of women on another chat board have used them with great results.

Best of luck to you!

I'm very sorry! I had one in March before this pg--it gave me hope to hear how many people go through the same thing so I hope that is helpful to you. I always got OPK's on ebay for way cheap. Crossing my fingers for you for the next go around!!

Michelle,
Like you, I was very surprised to hear of the number of my friends that had been through the same thing. It was oddly comforting to know that all of these women also had very beautiful babies following the miscarriages.

We tried OPK's last time, but it always seemed that when the stick turned purple Jason was in the wrong part of the country!

So, his schedule works out that we are able to do the 48 hour thing again this month....so keep your fingers crossed! A Halloween baby would be fun!
