| The good news is that he's only scraped up and banged up. The bad news is that my son's car is totaled. Some guy made a left turn in front of him. He swerved to avoid him, clipped him and veered head on into the light post. The airbag deployed, thankfully. Of course Charlie just left for six days. So, now I have to figure out how to get him to school and work (I work 45 miles away from where his life revolves). Now I have to figure out what to do with the vehicle that the police graciously towed to their impound area for us. Now I have to negotiate to deal with insurance (we had dropped collision on it--but we're not a no-fault state so we should be able to get something out of the other guy's liability portion since he was cited for the left turn). Oye vey--we don't need this! |
