Default Alex found the toilet paper

I'm trying to find a blank VHS tape to record a TV show, and I hear Bill yell from the hall "Amber, Alex found the toilet paper!" I go in the bathroom and here's what I see:

Notice the expression of glee on his little face.......

That is soooo cute!! Luckily he didn't make too much of a mess!! I've seen much worse.

He's absolutely adorable!!

Everytime my DH sees that commercial where the little boy is in his highchair and has his face is in the bowl of spaghetti he says "that's going to be our son :-D "

What a MILESTONE!! You go Alex!!!

BEWARE!! About a week after Ben found the tp...he discovered shoving things down the toilet! Luckily nothing made it in, but I found him with my hairbrush getting VERY close to the water! YUCK!

Now that you bring it up Jessica... does anyone know if there are safety clip for toilet lids now a days (clip lid to seat so that it's heavier?)? I dunno why, but i was just wondering about how parents keep the kids away from flushing themselves or things down the pipe?!

i mean, until they're potty trained, i would figure it'd be a good idea to prevent them from learning how to pop up the lid and put fluffy the goldfish down pipe without you watching!

if not, might be a good invention to mastermind! ohhh i can see the infomercials now op: -> stop your kid from "lifting the lid".. hahha

Yeah, he didn't make too much of a mess, there wasn't a whole lot left on the roll! (Thank goodness!)

They do make lock/latch mechanisms to go on toilets. For now we're just going to keep the bathrooms doors shut at all times. But considering he's already figured out how to open doors (we have horizontal latches, not round door knobs) it's not going to be much longer and I'm sure we'll have to deal with the playing in the toilet issue.

I called my parents last night and said "He found the toilet paper!", my dad started laughing and said "Yup, I seem to remember another little person who thought that was great fun." So apparently he's just taking after his Mummy!
