Unhappy I am so tired right now....poor kitty is sick again...

so my cat sprite was sick again last night.. not only peeing everywhere but vomiting too... so i took her to the vet today and she had a urinary tract infection again (she has FUTLD(?)) and who knows what else...luckily, the docs gave her amoxycillin which will help just about everything that's going on with her...

but it wasn't before she let me know she wasn't feeling good...i think she'd been not feeling good for almost a week cuz we found dried urine on our new laminate flooring (we had to change it out from carpeting simply because of the last time she had a urinary tract infection)....and she pee'd in my bed! not kidding...of course, it was mostly dry by the time i got to it but what a mess today...i had to take urine sample to the vet, wait for test results.. pick up the antibiotics, try and clean the urine off my white goose down comforter (that'll cost me at least $50 for dry cleaning - ouch!), clean the sheets, make sure the mattress doesn't have any odor, try and clean the laminate floor...make a run to the grocery store for white vinegar and petsmart for the new nature's miracle that has the oxy in it (it does seem to work better than the regular nature's miracle) AND try to get back to work. what a crazy crazy day....

we were going to try and fly over to paris or copenhagen this weekend but that's off now, so we'll have to wait for another weekend because she needs her antibiotics twice a day and just trying to give the stupid thing to her is ridiculously hard because she's a good 13 lb cat!! the worst part is that she's sick.. it's not her fault...but it's still so frustrating that i wonder how the mom's here deal with their kids frustration when they do something absoutely horrendous that makes you feel like putting them up for adoption! hahaha

I swear, i treat my cats like my kids and i wouldn't give one of them away just because of a problem that's not their fault..but still....argh!!!

man.. i'm tired....i think i'll go to bed and wake up to a new hopefully better day! haha

you know Kristie - "they" say that you shouldn't go to bed angry because you just lay there and fume and get more pissed that you're not falling asleep and in the end you have only a little bit of sleep and you're angry the next day because you didn't sleep well + whatever was bugging you the previous day!!

/off topic fyi

Go to bed, wake up refreshed and you will feel better. Sleep puts it all into perspective.

I've so had those moments of wanting to adopt out the kid (feel free to laugh at my misfortune and sympathize here, I do). When Max was one and drew on his face with a sharpie that his dad left out... Nail polish remover only takes off so much and we had to wait for it to wear off.

When he vomited all over the back of the car because he was reading and we'd told him not to (we knew he'd get carsick) and we didn't have any clean clothes so we had to wrap him in a towel and take him into a store and he refused to wear anything for sale and pitched a fit...

That weekend when I really wanted to go away with my new boyfriend but couldn't find anyone to babysit...

But those times when he falls asleep in my arms or tells me I'm the best mommy ever- they just negate every bad incident we have. And there are way more good times that occur. I bet the next time kitty curls up on your lap, purring, you'll forgive her.
