| Jetgirls Member | Anyone have any little one's on Enfamil AR??? DS has reflux and is NOT stretching out his feedings enough....thought I might try it. A little nervous about the fact that its a rice based starch. Other DS suffered major gas from rice so we stopped using it as fast as we started. Just curious... |

| The added rice may work for reflux. If it's not severe it may just be enough to do the trick. My ds#2 had refulx also but the enfamil products made it worse. I ended up putting him on carnation good start because he couldn't handle the milk proteins but it did nothing for his reflux. I'd say go ahead and try it, give it a few days though before you decide if it's going to work or not. If it doesn't and gives him to much gas you can either try the mylicon drops with the feeds or switch to carnation good start and add some thick-it which acts the same way as the rice but it's not rice based. |
