Default pregnancy update

Well, I figured I havent given an update in a while so I thought Id post one. Things are going very well. I am almost 17 weeks along and the morning sickness is almost non existent. I get sick maybe once or twice a week and If I eat something I almost always feel better, so it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.. I can handle this anyday. Bill said to me last thursday, when I was exactly 16 weeks, "wow, today is the first day you actually look pregnant". He wanted to take pictures of me (which he did) and If I get enough nerve maybe ill post one of the now obvious "bump".

Today, we went for our second trimester blood screening where they test for all kinds of things, Cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia, and some others I can remember. How about they drew 11 viles of blood! I thought I was going to pass out!

We were supposed to find out the sex next wednesday but because Bill will be on reserve, we had to push it back to June 13th. When the final bid award for June comes out next week , we will see if we can move it to the first week in June. We are very excited! Bill is still calling it a "he".

When we were at the hospital today for our bloodwork, we met with the admissions dept for some "billing" questions and had to go upstairs to the labor and delivery floor where this ladys office was,, well, her office was right next to the nursery and Bill and I ofcourse went and took a peek,,,, I Ofcourse CRIED! Then, when I saw one of the nurses walk by with a brand new baby.,,,, I CRIED AGAIN. I havent otherwise been very emotional yet,, but it seems like every time I see a baby I get all teary eyed.

Thats pretty much it for now. It's still hard to beleive I am over 4 months pregnant, it seems like we just found out a few days ago,,,, how time flies~ I will keep you all posted.

Awh! You're just hitting the lovely part of being pregnant, you'll be feeling the baby move soon if you're not already! Its so exciting I'm almost jealous LOL. Not ready to do it all again just yet though.. Amanda how long have you been ttc? It took us a year with our first and 9 months with our second.

I cried for 9 months! even the 7 yr old was making fun of me by the end! Glad to hear that things are going well and that you are feeling better, but I think Regina and I are going to have to kick you out of the sick to the end club LOL

Amanda, hang in there you will get there. It can be tricky when they are gone durning the "right" time of the month.

Thanks for the update! You are right behind me in your pregnancy. I found out the gender today, but I am going to start my own post so I don't hijack your thread! I am so excited for you and your DH. It is all so exciting, isn't it?

I don't want to hijack this thread! But... I have been off the pill for about 9 months and we have been "trying-trying" since November. We have had some issues that I haven't spoken about on the board.
