| Member | We moved mostly bc he was closer to where he's based. It was eaiser for us both in the begining and I started looking for jobs here only bc I was curious and then ended up getting one....so I figured it was worth it to move. (we hadn't expected to stay out here long, and honestly will probably move back home within the next year -- mostly to be closer to family again) We were going to move back before the baby comes but decided that since he is based out here, he will be able to be home more if we're all out here rather than him having to commute all the time. It's funny to listen to people say things about "knowing what you're getting into" (people i work with say this to me all of the time) considering I, of all people, should know. We have know each other since we were like 2 or 3 yrs old and since probably kindergarden, all he has talked about wanting to do is become a pilot, so I definitly knew beforehand what to expect...I guess its just a little harder when you're actually IN the situation with raging hormones and all. haha Luckily, now that he passed his upgrade this last week (yeay!!) I'll hopefully be able to stay home with our little guy longer once he comes. |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | What you are feeling is normal, Essentialy we are married, single parents. You just have to be independent and brave. Find your groove and try to stay positive. It's not an easy lifestyle. Try and lean on family and friends maybe join a support group if you think you need it. Im sure there are a lot of women with husbands in similar occupations that keep them from home....You will be fine. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Hi there... We are not married, but sometimes I do hold the grudge of thinking "OMG, I can't believe I am doing this..." It is tough, and I do not like being alone most of the time, but I just have to kick myself to think, that this is what he 'loves' to do...so instead of weighing myself down with how alone I feel, I took up step classes at the Y, and of course school is 80% of my time! Take care, and we are always here to hear you out! Cassie
