birthing and delivery question

As for me:
Baby #1 3 days early
Baby#2 1 week early
Baby #3 1 week late (had to be induced- the little stinker just didn't want to come out! Because she was a week late she was also by far my largest!)
Baby #4 1 week early (induced)

I remember at my Dr. appts with my second child I was 4 cm dilated at 8 1/2 months. I loved hearing that I was 4 cm and woke up every day thinking is today the day? And then the month passed and I was STILL at a 4. I just wanted to cry. Lesson learned your little one will come when it is time!

Oh, Christie. I hear you with that one. By 33 weeks, I am typically at a 3 or more, somewhat effaced, etc. But this time, I have been having a bunch of braxton hicks.....I mean, a bunch. I go in and asked to be checked at my appointments, and absolutely nothing! I am dying. I ask the doc if she's sure. I have never not been dialated at all this far along, and since I usually go 2 weeks before, we planned hubby's vacation around that time. If anything, I hope my body is ready for that last week he has vacation to possibly be induced, but I can't see doing it if my body isn't. Plus, I was about a week off on my dates, so I should definetly be dialated now. It is so depressing, but you are right, they will come when it is time.
