Our First Doctor Apt Today

Well, we had our first ultrasound and regular apt today. Since we got pregnant so fast, my regular OB/GYN was not available to meet with today, so we met with the ARNP/CNM which we really liked! We are actually considering letting her as a mid-wife deliver our baby. Jackie, if you read this, maybe you can offer some advice on this? We saw our babie's heart beat, a strong 133 BPM. What a trip! SInce I am only about 6.5 weeks they did an internal ultrasound as well to see if she could get some better pics,, well she couldnt, so we pretty much did the internal for nothing,,, oh how fun that was!She wants us back in about 3 weeks to get a better look. All we could really see was a flutter but still, it was an amazing feeling and sight, so surreal!!! My morning sickness was sooo much better this morning. Bill was able to track down some "real" ginger ale that seemed to really help, i only puked once and not like yesterday where it was three times before noon! So, I really think i am finding some things that may help. THat's about it though, nothing too much to report other than things seem to be going along as they should be. I will keep everyone posted....
