School bake sales...

I am not the involved type parent that likes bakes sales, fund raising, etc. I guess it is because I don't want to add one more thing to my list of things to do; I would just rather donate the money instead, especially since not only are you baking something, but then you send your kids with money to buy junk.

Anyway, we have to bake something for them to sell at Church Sunday, so any ideas of what is a good seller would be great. I put this in the raising people instead of house to home because I figure the moms that have had kids in school might know a bunch of what sells?????

rice krispy treats made with fruity pebbles. Cutout cookies with a light frosting. Caramel popcorn. popcorn balls. anything sweet! lol

I'm a sucker for cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles!

I agree with cupcakes and rice krispie treats. They're always a hit. And I make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from the Betty Crocker bag A LOT! They're always a hit and really easy.

I think next time I will do the cupcakes and dress them up with sprinkles or candy.

Hubby and I went out on a double date last night, and I was exhausted by the time we were coming home. I had not baked anything yet, so we stopped at Walmart and bought donuts. I guess they were the first thing to go this morning, so until I am post-pregnancy, I think I will stick with buying donuts.

My sons school normally sell donut holes and mini muffins, they sell pretty good.
