Default Baby Development

I cannot believe that Victoria is already 2 months old! She is growing right before my eyes and makes me melt everytime I look at her.
She is already cooing and making sweet gurggling noises. And as soon as she hears my voice she smiles with great delight! I'll be in the store talking to her and people will look at me like I've gone bonkers, lol!
Here are her stats:
Height: 24.5 inches
weight: 13 pounds
head circumference: 39.5 cm

She does have a heart murmur, but nothing to be concerned about. We have been doing follow ups with the ped cardiologist and already did x-rays and ultrasounds. there is a small hole at the bottom, between the left and right vent., but will hopefully /eventually close in time.
Anybody else want to share their little ones development?

Default Re: Baby Development

our recent dr. appt on friday of last week - delayed 6 month immunizations (illnesses since her "actual" 6 month appt...gotta love daycare.) cora is 19.9 lbs!
this morning after she finished nursing i said "all done?" and she responded "ah-da"...and was ready to get on the floor and crawl away. she says "ma" when i come in the room or show up at daycare...she has started saying "ba-ba-ba" with her baby doll...

the speech-language pathologist in me says they are not definite words until they've used it numerous times in the same contexts...but the mommy in me feels that she's starting to use intro "words" already and it's so exciting to watch! big sister was an early talker too...first words at 10 months, two words by one year...not bragging by any means...i don't want to sound like that...but when i spend all of my waking hours with children that are so delayed in this area...it's an amazing and spectacular sight to watch "normal".
