Default is she ready?

I'm not sure if I'm just an overly nervous mommy, but i don't really want to take Victoria out in public until she reaches the 30 day mark. She's 24 days right now. My inlaws want me to take her out tonight to a very crowded restaurant and be surrounded by germs. Eric is on a trip but thinks she'll be fine.
What do you think?

I am not a mom, but from my classes, up until 3 months infants still have mother's immunity (better is nursed b/c antibodies passed and such) a susceptible age/time is anywhere from 3 months to 2yrs because that is the time they are getting there own immunity built...I'm no expert it is just what I picked up from my Path Bact class...

I don't think 5 more days is really going to make that much of a difference. When my babies are new, I usually leave them in the infant carrier w/ a blanket draped over it. That would mostly prevent airborne germs from getting her. I'd probably just let the IL's know that you will go, but you won't be passing her around the table or anything, she should probably stay covered. She should have a good immune system, but there is also a lot of funky crap going around right now.

I did go. I fed her before we left for the restaurant, bundled her up, strapped her in and left her in her carrier. She slept the entire time! And I kept a blanket over her.
Today we are staying in! lol

And that is what I was afraid of!
But then I figured if my germ bag children who go to school haven't gotten her sick, she'll be fine.

hehheheh! Way to go! Sounds like it was a piece of cake for her. Its a case where mama has more stress and anxiety than the kid. :-)
