Good luck sweetie! Just relax, try to stay calm and enjoy all of this!
And NOOOOO, no gory details, please. Kristie, are you nuts and want to traumatize all of us, lol.

Brenda,

You are my hero! I only have three more false alarms to break your record! No baby. I managed to piss off about 30 people in Lincoln,NE as their flight was probably canceled for lack of a reserve pilot this am and DH was on his way to an old USMC buddy's house for beer and steak when I called to have him come home.

The contrax stopped a few hours after DH got home. Figures. I'm pretty run down today -we'll see if its allergies or the baby.

In terms of graphic photos and all the details, I'm not scared. We took great picts of Jason's delivery -VERY graphic. Hopefully we'll do as well this time. I'll tell you all the details if you want to hear/read. It will be up to you....

When I have a little more time, I'll post Jason's story. I'm pretty proud of it.....

Jackie

My last baby was about 3 total false alarms; 2 false alarms called home from a trip. The first time, we went to the hospital, nothing. I told the nurses, "I know I was feeling contractions, but they must have stopped." They looked at me like, "What number baby is this that you can't tell if you are in labor?" Next time, hubby's on a trip, I call him home telling him this time is the real deal. Back to the hospital....nothing. Goes on the next trip the following week, "Can you come home, I think I am in labor....even though we were scheduled to be induced the next day." Okay, he makes plans to come home just about 12 hours earlier than expected. My mom takes me to the hospital. The hospital says that I am really not progressing, but I am contracting a bit, so go home. Nope....I am not going home. I tell the nurses that I can't go home, my husband is going to kill me for calling him home again. So, the midwife says that she will just break my water when hubby gets off the plane. Well, oops...the nurse comes in to check me and breaks my water before he is close enough to home. He makes it there just in time....after the epidural, but before the pushing.

the only thing I hate thinking about is pooping on the table. I know its not a big deal to the nurse and doc. but man I HATE the thought of doing it. I told DH that if sees or knows that I do, I never, never, never want to know. I think I did with DS but don't know for sure, so as long as I can bury my head in the sand I am fine.

I agree with you - if I pooped during delivery with our first, I don't want to know. Delivery is humiliating enough without that knowledge! I wanted to die of embarrassement after I had Emily - a very young nurse came in to check my stitches, etc. - I just wanted to crawl under the table! I will live in denial too - I pushed her out, thank me and move on! LOL
