| oh, sorry...im looking for ideas for the plane ride there...all I can think of are dvds and I hate the idea of using media to entertain her on vacation. My sister and I spend a lot of time together, so shes pretty mature. Are there dolphins in Aruba? If so, she would definately love to do something like that. I think her wishes are to go parasailing and have her hair braided. Im sure shell have a ball regardless! |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Can you put together a vacation album or something on the plane? Not anything too messy since you won't have the table room, but maybe just some colored papers in a ring binder and you can leave places for pics and journal enteries? Or maybe give her some brochures about the area to look at while on the plane? Or give her post cards to fill out and mail from Aruba when you get there, to her friends and family? |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | how about some photography on the flight out there? she could take photos of things she sees from way up high (that are interesting) or even of the plane/flight crew and document it in her vacation album! or you could have her pick out a book she'd be interested in reading and make it kindof a contest depending on how far she can get or if she finishes the book, she can get an extra treat on the island? are you taking a laptop? |

| Thanks for the ideas...we bought a fodors guide, which she has practically memorized and is getting to be quite annoying. Maybe I can have her make possible itineraries. The scrapbook/photo idea is great. It could double as her thank you gift for my older sister. As for the books, she is bringing four...what kid goes through multiple books on a vacation? |
