LOL[/quote:2637183310] ME TOO!! I was always a reader as a kid. I'd always take a book in the car even if we were just going to the grocery store. When we went on a longer vacation half of my bag was filled with books. |

| I have to laugh because as a child, part of our getting ready for vacation ritual was a trip to the library where we would ALL (mom, dad, brother and me) pile up with books! My whole family loves to read! We are getting ready for vacation starting next week and Jason and I walked to the library yesterday and filled a backpack with books for all three of us and Ben is only 17 months old! I guess some traditions just keep going! |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | [quote:b2632ba437]you could always give her a "roll off the tongue" nickname too! [/quote:b2632ba437] Corbin has always wanted to have a girl he could call CJ (Heaven help me I hope it's not because of Baywatch or something!) So the name worked out perfectly for that, but he wanted it to be a special nickname that only daddy got to use, but said reluctantly that if others used it that would be ok. His favorite flower is also a Calla Lily, and it kind of sounds like that. The obvious nickname would be Callie, but I have a bias against that one because it's the name of the evil midwife that delivered Caleb and it makes me picture her every time I hear it. Maybe I would get over it after a while, but as of now, I just don't want a "Callie". Our other top choices were Julia which is getting pretty popular and we prefer less popular ones, or Lillian. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I love Lillian!! you could call her lilly and that goes with Corbin's flower thing! I really like Callia too but I think if you want to stay away from the callie thing Lillian is a great alternative! My mom is a teacher and she had a hard time finding a name she and my dad liked that didn't remind her of some horrendous kid she had in years past! |

| Well, we had an awesome time in Aruba and got home last night...I miss vacation already! The ride there went really well...there was a magazine passed around called Destination Aruba, so we had lots to plan, plot and gush over! Thanks for the suggestions...I gave Mel (my younger sister) a disposable camera to make a memory album and that was hit. I think she is going to make a thank you scrapbook-type card for my older sister, which should be really sweet. |
