| Oops- I noticed that I am missing a letter in PREGNANT on the thread heading. SORRY! OK major thread hijack, but with all this talk of bread and pizza I was just wondering what all of you mommy's had a craving for while pregnant. Believe it or not with each of my four pregnancies I craved the same two things Mexican Food and POTATOES. Anything made with a potato I loved. My most favorite though was potato salad. MMM! homemade with big chunks of egg was the best, but I remember one afternoon after work I was on my way home and passed an Albertson's. I quickly u-turned and made my way straight to the deli where I ordered a 1/4 lb of potato salad (although I should have ordered 1/2 lb ) and asked at the counter if they had a fork. I ate that whole container of salad in the car in the Albertson's parking lot. |

| I ate a lot of chicken, Mexican and pizza type stuff. I could not even stand the thought of any type of red meat. If my husband was cooking steak or burgers I couldn't be anywhere around it, couldn't stand to look at it or smell it for some odd reason, and I love red meat! |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Salads with ranch dressing. It had to be ranch. Now I've switched over to balsamic and Olive oil. I love it! Fish, Pizza, and red meat. Of course, just about everything I crave I can't get here in Evansville. One day I actually lucked out. Eric's last leg was BOS to IND. I made him get me a calamari salad from the airport. I was nicely packaged and cooled with ice. He had a cooler in the car, so he snagged ice from ops to fill it. What a guy! And it was just as delicious as I remember it being. I have to get back. Ooh, jello pudding pops, remeber those from early 80's? Well, I had wanted some forever. One day I was in Walmart, one of my 3 stops to do my grocery shopping, and I was walking down the ice creme aisle. It was like light shined on the case and music started playing, lol. I grabbed a box. It was so not what I remebered, didn't really care for it. Gee, my list could go on and on.

| With both, I craved Peanut butter. I usually hate it, but I really wanted PB&J's while pregnant and/or peanut butter cookies. With my oldest, I also craved hot dogs. ![]()

| I had a sausage, egg and cheese bagel for breakfast every morning and BLTs and a chocolate pudding cup as often as I could. My poor in-laws. Mom knew that's what I was craving, and we had dinner at their house every Sunday. They whole family ate BLTs every Sunday for 9 months straight. And they bought me those big family packs of pudding. They were so good to me! |

| With my first, I craved salad with Durkee fried onions, french dressing and a huge scoop of cottage cheese, pork chops, crumb topped doughnuts and Red Lobster's Ultimate Feast. No wonder I gained 65 lbs. With my second, Wendy's french fries with extra salt and ketcup. (All things I hate) ![]() |

| With Emily I craved milk. Couldn't get enough of it. Once I drank an entire gallon in one day! With this pregnancy, i'm not craving anything yet. Just looking at food makes me want to hurl. I hope that changes soon, it's getting depressing to NEVER feel hungry! ![]() |

| I craved ice, not ice from the freezer it had to be ice from the store, I would go to the convinience store and by the 44oz and fill it with ice and maybe a drop of soda. My oldest daughter craved the same thing.

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I didn't have any cravings with either, although with my son I ate a lot of veggies and w/ my daughter I ate a lot of sugary treats, but I'd say I preferred them, but not craved them, the way I hear some women talk about cravings as "I MUST have it now!!" |
