My BABY is the big O-N-E!!!

I'm happy and sad at the same time. I can't believe I have a one year old... a toddler! I kinda miss my little tiny baby. We were looking at video today of when she was younger... I barely remember it cause I was so tired all the time. I feel like I missed out on alot, like I didn't enjoy it enough cause I was stressed, exhausted, worried.

I am excited about this coming year though. I've learned to just enjoy the age that she is now - live in the moment, one day at a time. Pretty soon i'll be dropping her off at the mall and she'll be telling me to get lost LOL!

Her party is tomorrow so i'll try to put some pics up here as soon as I can.

I have to ask you guys though, Did you cry alot around your babies first birthday? Everyday this week when I rock her to sleep I cry.

Tonight was EXTRA special....

Every night since the day she was born I sing "You Are My Sunshine" to Emily. Well tonight was the 365th time and I was rocking her and her head was resting on my shoulder. After I sang it I kissed her on the cheek....
SHE KISSED ME BACK!!! She's never done that before. She kissed my neck! I just lost it LOL!

Awww!!! Yeah! Is she kissing with her mouth open or closed? Mack gives big ol open mouth kisses! Even though she can make "fish lips" and pucker, when you ask for a kiss, it is a full on open mouth with the tongue sticking out!! We are continuing to work on it!

Yeah-- I was a little emotional around Mack's birthday, but I was just so sad about not having a party and my parents here, that I was just kinda a mess anyway. I think its normal to be sensimental at this time.

Give Em a GREAT BIG HUG for me!!! I hope you all have a great time tomorrow. Is DH able to be there?
