hahah, it is funny that you noticed, yes, our cat population grew by 5! We have 2 female cats, which never did I think they would get pg because we live out in the boonies and I thought they were still young to become pg! (shows you what I know ) but one cat Pixie had 3 kittens, I helped, well more like sat there and made sure everything went ok, Pixie did exactly what her motherly instincts said to do, and everything Google said she would do! The other cat, Moonpie, I noticed was gone A LOT, like she would come and eat one morning, and I would see her for the next couple of days! I told the BF, because I noticed she would always come/go from the same general area, well one day at work, he sent me a picture of 2 more kittens! It seems Moonpie, had them in an old shed aside our house, but they look really healthy and a little bit older than the 3 we already had!

So, now, I'm in the process of finding good homes for the 2 older kittens, they are so adorable, but really, have taken over my laundry room! Talk about all sorts of string, balls, bells, mice w/ bells, mice w/feathers, they are just everywhere! BF said I can keep one of them, but with 5, I can't just pick one!

So, if you are in the CLT area let me know, I have a good friend that needs a home! hhehehe...

I'll post pictures, because, yes, kittens are so adorable!

and Kenzie, LOVES all of them, she is so gentle with them and will actually sit in the room and just watch them...she'll lick them once in a while too, it's great...one time, she was sitting in the cage with all 5 kittens and I was "come on, Kenzie, let's go outside" normally she goes fanatic about going outside, but this time she just sat there and stared at me like "right, I aint' goin nowhere"...a couple of times she has snarled at me, when I try to pull a kitten out of the cage, it's so cute...mama, Pixie will let kenzie just sit there in the room too, while she's nursing the kittens, Pixie will get playful with her too while the kittens are nursing!

ahhh, ok, this turned out to be a novel, sorry, but yes, I have 5 kittens, 2 mama cats, and 1 wild dog...at times, I feel like i'm in a zoo!

Aww, I was wondering about Moonpie. So, you weren't around when she finally had the babies? That was awhile go though.

I wish I could have a kitty, but I know for a fact my princess kitty, Rosita would not allow it. She's had so much adjusting to do with baby Victoria.

Cassie- I would love a kitten but Nick would kill me. We already have a cat but she's been with her grandparents since my landlord doesn't accept pets.

Update:

Found a good home for 1 kitty, it was a single mom and her 2 teenage boys...they came over to the house and immediately fell in love with the calico...she was beautiful, I was a little choked up, but I know she is going to be taken good care of...

I still have 4...but I'm going to keep 1, but can't decide which one, they are all so cute!

They are a handful though, every time I open the door, it is like a race to see who can get out the fastest and underneath the porch, little rascals...I have this little catnip scratcher, and man, they go wild, it is hilarious!

and we now have appointment for Moonpie and Pixie to get spayed, No more kitten surprises in my house! hahaha...
