|  Doggie DNA-Mutt's Ancestry Clipped an article today from the newspaper for hubby to read when he comes home. We are the proud parents of a mutt and we have always wondered about what kind of breeds that make up our boy. Other people are always asking and making suggestion too. Well now there is a couple of companies that analyze doggie dna and report back on potential breed ancestry. The article mentions Canine Heritage Breed Test ($80) (www.metamorphixic.com) who take cheek swabs, Mars Wisdom Panel MX (The Mars Wisdom Panel™ MX Mixed Breed Analysis test answers "What's My Dog?") (range from $100-$200) and is a blood sample drawn by the vet's office. Boy I wish I had an extra couple hunderd bucks laying around. I would love to know. Going to put this one in my "when I get rich" or "the prices come down" file. |
