dang cat!

So I know she's only going with her kitty instincts but seriously! She keeps bringing us "presents". The other day she brought in a live mouse which she then chased around the family room and into my boot. My roommate trapped the mouse in the boot with my sock, and then took the whole contraption out on the balcony and dumped out the mouse over the side.

Yesterday she shows up with a LIVE bird! I yelled for my bro to come help me and i held the cat while he grabbed the bird and tossed it outside. Then i got to scrub blood out of the carpet and when I came home from work today, the bird was still outside, but is now headless(!!) I don't know if the cat got at it again or if another animal got it...but damn!

Today she shows up carrying a dead mouse. Prances down the stairs and proudly displays it at our feet...


i know she's just following her instincts but damn! at least we're moving on to dead things now... better than the live ones!
