I was lucky to even get to pet her!!!She has only been outside the one time we moved and the one time she went to the vet. And lately, she has been camped out in my closet, she only come out when no one is around to eat and potty, then right back in the closet. Cats are wierd. I always thought of myself as a "cat person" until I got this cat and realized how moody and unpredictable some can be. I swear she is that way because we got her declawed. My dh insisted that we declaw her and now I think it really screwed her up!
at what age did you get her declawed?

i take it the "lumps" are under the skin? has she been gaining weight or losing? could just be fat deposits too...

can you coax kitty out with canned food or treats? maybe just go in, pick her up and take her to the vet...

She was less than a year old when we got her de-clawed. But I have since read articles about how it can change their personality.

Coaxing her out isn't the problem, I can get to her. It is the biting while I try to feel of them that is the problem! But if you put on gloves, you can't feel of them as well.

I know eventually I will have to take her in to see the vet, but it won't be fun. I wish I had a video of the last time I took her in. When the vet took her temp, she broke the thermometer and then proceded to run around the room with the thermometer still in her! She jumped on the counter and knocked some stuff off and broke it, fell into the sink and pushed the faucet on and got wet and really pissed. He had to go get these long padded gloves on to finish the shots and get the broken thermometer out. He even made me leave the room!

Anyway, hope they are fat deposits, like I said, I was just curious, but will be talking to the vet next month!
