I just read this article, and I thought some of the points were quite interesting.
WARNING: This is from a Christian perspective, so please take note and not be offended. It is written by a mom that does a blog and has 8 kids. Her name is Kelly, and a lot of her posts make people angry. But, like I said, a few points in this article are very interesting and at least worth thinking about....She is not my religion, and I don't always agree with everything she has to say, but I do find some of her articles interesting, and this is one of them.
I guess I should also add the things that I liked about it: 1. Giving courtesy to your mate 2. Not dwelling on your mate's shortcomings because they will become bigger than they actually are, and your attitude about it will reflect that 3. Not to compare your spouse unfairly 4. Not playing with fire with the opposite sex 5. Make time for each other 6. Thinking of marriage like a garden that needs to always be tended to or else weeds will grow 7. Choose to have a good marriage and commit yourself to making it happen.
Anyway, I liked the points above, and just wanted to share her points.
