Default It just never ends....

Dh finally got his commercial in August. It then took him until November to find an instructor that could fly often. So from August to November he had not flown. Finally, he starts flying again, and after only 5 flights, a UVSC student BACKS IN TO the one and only ME plane UVSC owns, and it will take them till the 20th to fix it. And then comes Christmas and New Years. So he'll maybe get a few flights in at the first of Jan. And then comes the baby and school on campus 3 times a week. And then after that settles down, it will be back to farm season and that means helping his dad. I swear he is going to be 40 before this is over. It is just taking SO freaking long! I wish I had just let him go to FSA in the first place w/o us. He'd have been done a long time ago, but I thought it was too important to not break up the family across the country. And now here we are 15 months later and barely ahead of where he was.

Ok, I'm done whining. You don't have to reply, I just had to write it out before I threw something at the wall.

Sorry Michelle! Any chance he could make flying his top priority vs everything else he's got going on?

here's some dancing cows to cheer you up!

Nice cows! LOL. After the plane is fixed it does NEED to be his top priority, I'd say even over me and Caleb and baby and family, cause part of our sanity will be him getting this done. Nothing else we can do till it's fixed though. It is at least reassuring to know that UVSC is going to be spending that much time to fix it, they aren't just going to put a bandaid on it and send him flying. So hopefully no risk of future problems from the damage.

The cows rule...the situation sucks. Sorry. If I find a magic wand Ill be sure to fix it...and if anyone else finds a wand ive got some things to put on teh list. (I know that isnt a magic trick..but it is the closest I could find.)

what school does he go to???

Eric's working on his ME right now too; and both of the dutchesses have been squaked...BY ERIC! So he can't fly for awhile either. And add to that the weather we've been having (no rain, just overcast) and the move the school will be doing the end of this month...he may be stuck working on his ME and Commercial until June like he did his PPL last year. He is at UVSC. He's done most of it online, but the next semester will be on campus. The good news is that at least this year we don't have to worry about weather as much. Last year most of his flights were cancelled from about November to April because of weather, but now it's good experience for him. (Not good for my blood pressure though!)

It's in Orem UT, but their online aviation science program is pretty popular nationwide. They are also at the FBO so he flies through them as well.
