NR Flying adventure

Sooo... DH, who is in FO training at CVG came home this weekend (PITT). Well, he used an S2 to come up... and we were pretty sure that he could do the same on the way back on Sunday. So, we get to the airport and find out that there had been a cancelled flight and so, guess what we had to do? YUP.. we left straight from the airport... a 5hr trip to CVG... with a 6yo in the car... got in about 10pm... slept.. woke up the next morn for the other 5 hr trip back....

Nice, eh? Did I mention I am beat?

Oh bummer! I feel for you. That's no fun with a kiddo in the back, let alone for you. Glad you could get some sleep before your next leg. Hope you took a nap when you got in.

oh wow, that is quite a ride!

get used to comair xls. better to get hotel and stay over for some quality time. cheaper than gas. happens alot particularly with end of a holiday week.
