|  First Christmas w/out Hubby Took hubby to airport this morning at 8:00 am. He is on his way out for a four day. This will be the first Christmas in 10 years that we have not spent together (6 married, 4 dating). I am feeling a little down about it. I know Christ wasn't born on Dec 25th. We have already exchanged our gifts. We have had to exchange them on other days in the past because of family visit and travel. A few of my holiday plans have been cancelled and rescheduled, so I am going to be pretty much by myself on Christmas Day (family get together got moved to Sat after Christmas at my grandmothers). I am trying to plan what I want to do on Christmas day. I think I will take my dogs to the dog park and have a winter picnic. Probably will go purchase/rent a couple of movies, before Christmas to watch on Christmas. Feel pretty sorry for hubby who will be stuck in a hotel room in Cleveland, OH, too. At least I have the dogs to keep me company. Well, that is the end of my pity party. |
