Default dealing with loneliness

Working at home, I don't get alot of outside interaction other than email or phone calls. I don't know anyone here other than just general aquaintances. My closest friend lives 3 hours away. My mother lives an hour and 45 minutes away and the closest mall is an hour and a half away. So if I do anything outside the home, it's usually alone. Makes for a pretty lonely life.

Hubby called the other day and said he and some of the other pilots went out for wings. I wasn't mad at him, not really. I don't have a problem with him doing that. What I have a problem with lately is that he gets to and I don't. Even if I wanted to do it, who would I do it with?

Bored out of my mind, I took my daughter to Opry Mills Mall in Nashville Sunday. We had a pretty good time, ate at Rainforest Cafe and shopped for me a couple of outfits to wear to an author dinner and two day book signing I have coming up the weekend of October 19th in Kingsport Tn. But shopping with a 6 year old is just not the same.

How do you deal with it? How do you fight off the loneliness, the blues, the jealousy of his having a life and you don't?
