| So, DH is making his way to MKE this evening and I was wondering what some of you jetgirls do when DH/SO is away? Is there something that you do in particular that first night he is away? I was thinking of starting some "me" rituals- something that I could look forward to doing that first night he is away. A long bubble bath, a facial??? I usually declutter and organize something and tend to stay up way too late (2 am or so), but that's not nearly as fun as a nice relaxing bubble bath. KWIM? Not a real life changing or profound question, just wondering. ![]() |

| I usually have ice cream night. I put the kids to bed and have a HUGE bowl of ice cream in bed and watch whatever I want to watch on tv- usually Food Newtwork or TLC . It's not too exciting, but it is luxurious to me!

| I don't really get to be on the computer when DH is home b/c we like to be together. So when he is gone, I spend most of my nights on the computer once the kids have gone to bed. Other than that, I don't do anything different. |

| I'm on the computer more too! Also, I go to the store and buy all the stuff DH shouldn't eat when he's home... Then I stay up late and pig out. Not the best habit to get into I guess. I have to watch when he's going to come home for a 24/7 though cause I have to have it all eaten by then. Sometimes they give him his 24/7 early... then it's like "crap! I gotta either hide this stuff, or binge! LOL!"Did I mention i'm only 8 lbs. away from what I weighed the day i had Emily? And I'm only 24 weeks! I better knock it off. |

| I am starting to work on making scrapbooks. (I have to do this when he is gone because he makes me crazy getting into my stuff) I have 3 large rubbermaid containers filled with pics and need to get them under control. I usually do the same stuff that I do when he is here, clean the house, pay the bills, train the animals (kids too), etc...

| I do absolutly nothing -- with the house, that is! I "hang out" until the last day or the last 2 hours if it's an out-and-back, then I race around the house and clean like a madman. The kids and I go out for dinner (their choice). Jen |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I have rituals the days my boyfriend is gone... I like to hang out over my sister's house and stay the night if I'm feeling partularily poopy the day he leaves... a different setting other than the apartment we just spent the last few days in together at least diverts my mind a little. I also rent movies... the kinds that he would absolutely HATE me to watch in front of him. and eat Wendy's. |
