| Jetgirls Member | Oh, this is priceless. We had staff development today, and I went out to lunch with friends. They took the opportunity to tell me that one of the elementary teachers was talking in a meeting about me the other day. She said that I am trying to get PG, that I want more children!! I laughed first, then I got ticked. First, I have had my tubes tied, so if I am trying, WOW, I am really confused!! LOL Second, if we were trying, what difference would it make? Get a life people, there are more interesting people than me - and stop making up stories! GRRRRR |

| That is too funny....some people just need to find better use of their time than to determine what other's are doing or not doing in their private lives. I am sure that most people don't look at it this way, but if you are asking someone if they are trying to have kids, in a way, you are asking about someone's sex life. Is that really appropriate for others to talk about? It use to make me really mad when people would ask about us and future kids, etc., then I realized that some people are just curious and others just have a lack of respect. ![]()

| Jetgirls Member | Ah, yeah... I decided to go with it, start a rumor I am having twins - and I want to have one more so I will have: 1,3,1,2,1 - it is a math thing! Sad part is, I am saying it as a joke, and someone will probably believe it and ask me when I am due. So, I went ahead and madeup a due date in Dec.!! ![]() |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Thats awesome! One of our assistant principals was talking to a teacher I work with that as pregnant (had a baby girl). The teacher was wearing a cute shirt that said something about having a baby. The asst. principal told her she would have to loan the shirt to me when we got back from break. The other teacher then proceeded to congratulate me and give me a hug. I had to clear it up. No more jokes from the asst. principal., though. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | This reminds me of the meanest thing I ever did in high school. I was dating a guy that went to a different high school. We broke up after a couple of weeks, but he was telling lots of people at his school that he slept with me and then dumped me, which was totally untrue. Well I had friends that went there, and they told me about it. Since he was so proud of "scoring" I told my friends there to start telling people I was pregnant with his kid. Nobody else would even talk to him about dating. |

But more importantly I plan to be there for school functions, be a room mother and help out in the classroom, help with field trips, etc. Also, it's a hassle when your kid is sick and has to stay home from school and then try to get the day off of work yourself. It's no biggie if i'm already home. Dr's appts, soccer games, ballet lessons, all easier to fit in IMO. There's PLENTY to do once they're in school. And if I DO get a few hours per day to myself, I consider it reward for the 24/7/365 job as a parent. I don't get sick days, or vacations, or even days off! If I get to have lunch with a friend while my kids are in school, I think i've earned it! That's not to say i'll never go back to work, but it'll be when I feel the time is right. | |
