Default NE1 look forward to DH leaving?

I feel bad about it. DH has been home for over two weeks and I'm ready to send him out the door (to fly, that is). He's driving me crazy! He's messy so I spend more time cleaning up after him than either myself or Emily. He always wants to go do things during the day, which I like, but I also need time to clean up after him. I end up having to do it in the evening when i'm worn out cause he's had me running all over town all day. Don't get me wrong, I like getting out of the house, but we've had to go somewhere every single day since he's been home! And he refuses to go anywhere alone. I swear.

And he snores!! I can't sleep. He wakes Emily up too! I end up sleeping on the couch 9 out of 10 times cause I can't take it. I know he can't help it, but good grief! I'm tired! At least when he's gone it's quiet around here.

I know, I should be grateful that i've had DH home for two weeks straight. And I really am... I'm just sick and tired of a messy house, being run all over town all day, then coming home to clean up.

I guess i'm never happy. If he's gone too much, I miss him. If he's home too much I wish he'd go back to work

Alright, vent over (whew!)

Bwahahahhahaah!

Welcome to my world!

Some pilot's wives think I'm a horrible person, but I personally am a much happier individual when dh is working! I get more sleep, I get more done, I'm SO much more relaxed.

I tell ya, if he was home everyday, I'd probably shoot myself.

So, no. You're not alone! In fact, welcome to the club! Don't feel bad about it. You need YOUR time too!

Sometimes, I feel that way Only because Brendan has been off during the week lately. So we'll stay up until 11:30-12:00 almost every night. And I have to get up and teach 8th graders the next day. I get so tired during the week that all I want to do once the weekend comes is sleep

But the good news is we actually have a weekend together this upcoming weekend. This is the first one in months! Probably since the summer (not counting his vacation). And he was able to move his schedule for April so he has off my school vacation week. We are hopefully going to Florida.

Ha! Two weeks is cake. DH has been on reserve for a month and has not been called. I've never been so driven to the edge of my sanity. We're ready to mutually kill each other.

He got called tonight! And I'm chillin at home. Oh lovely mercy!

In other words I feel for your suffering.

Oh Tanya, i know exactly how you feel!!!! been there, done that...could write the book.. haha

I have so many things going on nowadays that It's hard to find time to even fit "me+dh" into the picture... sometimes, I go out on my hammock and just stay there for hours listening to the neighbors waterfall, even when dh is home...it's the only way I get to take a "me" break and breathe a little.

Thanks! I'm glad i'm not the only one LOL!

He was supposed to leave last Thursday for 18 days, but they called him on Tuesday instead . I was smiling underneath

Well they ended up sending him home last night cause some planes are down for maintenance. I don't know how long he'll be home. Oh well, i'm glad he's home (for now - tee hee).

Smiles!
