The new layout & suggestions?

I know some of the new layout is in german.. I'm working on that issue with the guy that created it.

In any case, if you hit the button that says "neues thema" - that means "create new thread", "antworten" means " reply" and editernen means "edit/delete message" - there are little yellow sticky's when you mouse over the buttons.

"Neue Beitrage" takes you directly to "new posts" and Kalendar is Calendar

Also, are there any suggestions (besides the smileys - i'll be working on those soon) in additional features that you'd like to see on here that you might have had on the old forum or have wanted to have??

I like this forum a lot. It is very clear to look through(the page set up). I thought it was funny that it was in German, and that I could actually translate it. I must have actually learned somethign in my 5 years of classes.

My only wish list is for a place for us to list our bios so we don't have to reintroduce ourselves to every new member. It's hard to stay fresh and give everyone the special welcome they deserve. To me it would be better to have a special place that only registered members could access with that info.

Yeah - I get part German and part English. Don't know what happened to my display bit takes too long to load and is very black.

I would like the website to load a holographic image of John Travolta in uniform every time I log in. Pretty please. I asked nicely.

I'd totally love the John Travolta thing too! hahaha but holographic, no can do! I'd really like it if Doug could get him to come out to NetworkJC as a mentorship type thing...that'd be SO cool & good for the young aviators out there.

so you all don't see that some of the buttons are in German? too funny... I have a fix for that, I just won't be able to get to it until I get back from alaska on Monday.

Actually Roz - there's a bio section in your profile. If you go to your control panel and do an edit profile, you'll be able to fill it in there! searches can be done based on bio/interests and so forth - so that'll help a lot.. plus i have a special database set up for the actual website - just have to wait till i get the two databases meshed in order to "turn it on"...I can't wait till this is all done, then i can relax a bit!

I think the new site is great. I was nice to open it up and see the new changes. Thanks for the hard work!
