OK - my icons are back.

Another curious question though. When I open up the "more graemlins" window they're all animated, but after I click on one of them, they all stop animating. Is that something easy to fix? Are you aware of it? No biggy though.

yup, i've noticed that too! dunno why that happens...it's kinda bizarre isn't it?!

I'm having the same problem Emily was, and I'm on IE. Sometimes when I get here it shows like everything as unread, othertimes it shows posts that have been posted on recently, but I have already read them, as being new, but once I get to the forum, everything is marked read, even the stuff I haven't read.

that's weird! have you expired your cookies recently? try that and see if that affects it at all!! I know we have a newpost/read post problem and that might not be fixed for a while yet till an update comes out for the software...what your seeing might be part of that problem, but try the expire cookie thing first and let me know if that affects it at all...

ok! it's probably part of the actual new post problem that everyone is experiencing with the software! they have the beta out for the upgrade, and i have no idea when it'll be actually finished...there's no easy fix until i get that upgrade in here!

I'm having issues with my desktop having the colored enveloped on the main page telling me there's new posts, but then when I click for a list of posts, it doesn't tell me where the new posts are. (This could be a Mozilla issue, since the laptop does fine with it with IE.)

Amber - that is part of the "cookie" problem that has to be fixed in the upgrade! it's not mozilla or IE.. it's the software i'm using...

so far, beta is out.. but i don't want to grab it until the actual fix is out since there's actually quite a few changes! what a pain in the rear end!! [img]images/graemlins/bitch.gif[/img]
