Hard to read!

Hi Kristie, I am finding the new look with all the blue and black a LOT harder to read. Is anyone else finding the same?

as far as buttons go...some of them are a bit hard to read but everything else seems ok to me.

I'm with you, katherine2473. I am also having a hard time reading some of the lighter blue type on the black background. Some specific examples are the "New Post" and other tabs across the top, the title when replying to a thread, and anything that appears in a drop down box like the "manage attachments" under attach files.

Kristie, I think this has gotta be a moniter specific problem too. My computer at work the buttons/tabs that I mentioned in previous post are almost impossible to see. But here on my home computer they are not near as difficult to read. Any suggestions on changing the spec's of my work computer?

The actual time after "All times are GMT-5. The time now is xxxx" is totally unreadable on home and work computer.

The differences between home and work computer are amazing! I was really worried when I checked the forum at work. But now that I am home the forum update looks very cool.

In some ways I am wondering if it is the light, too. The florecents at work plus I have a huge wall of floor to ceiling windows in my office at work. At home it is regular incandenct bulbs, evening, and more cavelike which might aid in making the light blue type in the black background pop out more.

try making your screen brighter using the buttons on your monitor. that might help.
