New features

If you look under your usercp, you'll see there are some new features....there's a visitor message location among other minor changes (most of the changes are avail. for the Jetgirls Plus subscription).

under quick links, you'll see an "open contact popup" and that's like an instant messenger of sorts.

you'll see the social groups in the menu, they can be public or private and can be used for whatever..airline, location, M&Gs etc.

there's the blogs that can be viewed/commented by everyone but only written by Jetgirls Plus....

Thread tags in every thread now....tags are used to help make a thread search engine friendly.

I'll try to find out what else is on the list that's included.

ok, so the visitor message thing you'll see when you look at your profile, not when you go into User CP

The social groups area is a really good idea. Maybe add CAL wives and XJet wives since I think there are enough to warrant a group. I'm sure others will chime in if they feel there are enough wives/girlfriends on board for a group.

you can add all the social groups you want yourself... add, send invitations, delete etc. it's all yours to play with!

I figure the social groups area is going to be the new Jetgirls Neighbor forums (per se)...

I was thinking that a good addition to the site would be the acronyms for different airports. Sometimes its confusing if you don't know all of them. Anyways, just a thought

I'm not trying to speak for Kristie, but I know if I were a forum administrator this would be a big task. Check out this resource and keep it handy next time you see an unfamiliar airport code:

yup, it's on the list....we'll (either doug at JC or I) will be adding a wiki that will help with all the acronyms and definitions and so forth. it's another software that has to be purchased but we'll offer it free for everyone, it's just a matter of whose going to host it that we still need to discuss.
