The addition of Jetgirls Plus and what it's all about...

Jetgirls recently made some major forum updates and in the process added a new usergroup called "Jetgirls Plus". For just US$20 a year (US$1.67 a month!), Jetgirls Plus members help support the site while gaining added features and privileges, including the following features:

New Features:
• New Blogging software: Full read/write access
• Profile Photo Album: 600x600 pixels, 100000 kB , 100 photos
• Profile Additions: Full visitor message access, friends listing and ability to change profile look (like Myspace/Facebook)
• New Forum: Jetgirls Plus forum for Jetgirls Plus members only with anonymous posting available (practically unmoderated)
• Support Badge: Jetgirls Plus badge in posts (when available in a few days; right now, it's just a Jetgirls Plus Title) to let others know you support JG.
• $5 Longevity Discount for members that have been active for 2+ years (requires prior approval).

Privilege Upgrades:
• Private Message Capacity: 500, plus tracking and ability to send private messages to accounts that are over quota. Ability to send to 5 recipients at a time
• Title: Custom title option or “Jetgirls Plus” default
• Forum Access: Full read/write access to the Safehouse including anonymous posting
• Website Photo Gallery: Full read/write access (100 galleries with 10 photos each gallery)
• Signature Specs: 5 lines (2000 characters), Signature image (maximum 200X200 pixels) and more control over signature typeface, font size, and configuration of signatures
• Avatar Photo: 200x200 pixels, 100000 kB
• Profile Photo: 300x300 pixels, 100000 kB
• Profile Photo Album (New Feature): 600x600 pixels, 100000 kB and 100 album photos included
• Ability to change username
• Chatbox: Full access to chatbox
• Badge of Honor: Jetgirls Plus badge in posts (when available in a few days; right now, it's just a Jetgirls Plus Title)
• Plus;
• Other cool stuff that we might throw in later, as vbulletin and it’s hacks expand.

Any validated user, regardless of post count, can upgrade to a Jetgirls Plus membership by visiting their control panel, selecting Paid Subscriptions, and following the instructions. Payment can be made using a PayPal account (paypal accepts credit, check and/or other banking methods). Payment may be mailed via approval with Kristie. All subscriptions are for one full year.

By becoming a paying member, you will automatically receive future account enhancements based on your status. Many new features are planned that will only be available to those with Jetgirls Plus accounts.

To subscribe, go into your User CP and look down the menu for "Paid Subscriptions".

Free accounts have not been crippled; they still have far more features and privileges than what is seen on most other message boards. However, we removed custom titles and changed items like signatures and avatar photos sizes. Free accounts can still use just about all of the amenities they had previous access to including the website photo gallery.

Free accounts are now tiered to offer added priviledges as post count and forum activity increase… Each tier offers the following benefits:

Private Message Capacity: 200

Forum Access: Full read/write access to the Safehouse with anonymous posting
Photos: Full website photo gallery access only; 50 galleries and 8 photos allowed per gallery
Signature Specs: 3 lines (1000 characters), Signature image (maximum 100X100 pixels)
Avatar Photo: 100x100 pixels, 5000 kB
Profile Photo: 100x100 pixels, 5000kB
Visitor/Blog Comments: Can view and post comments to visitor profile and blogs
Chatbox: Full access to chatbox

Free Accounts with 5-25 posts
Private Message Capacity: 50

Jetgirls will not adopt a pay-to-register or pay-to-post mode, and there is no obligation fpr users to pay for a Jetgirls Plus membership. Voluntary donations for enhanced features and privileges is just one of the ways we are working to ensure Jetgirls has a sustainable source of revenue, so it can survive and thrive in the future.
