Colors and lettering

I know this has been addressed before, is there a way to set our own background colors and text?

I can't change my computer screen settings just for this website since it is set for other things. And I have the hardest time trying to read the forum

.

Great site though, I enjoy checking it out frequently.

As far as I know, you can only change the font, text color, etc for the message that you are currently typing, but maybe Kristie knows a way to permanently set it...

the whole forum is going to change in a few weeks as it is....but...in the meantime, you cannot change your background. however, you can change the color of your text in the editor. I've found that orange and yellow are pretty good colors to use.
