well, doug may be booking a crashpad in Jersey (near the beach) that a JC member owns or is apart of or something like that... Nick could just crash with them if he needs a spot? i know they might be looking for more peeps to put in there! still not sure when training will be for him tho or where he'll fall on the list of assigned bid lines.

not sure yet bout the travel buddy to alaska thing.. depends on doug's schedule and all! but i'll let you know!

Near what beach? The whole shore is full of beaches all the way from Sandy Hook down to Cape May! http://www.shore-guide.com/nj-beaches.htm

Is he planning on having a car or doing the NJ transit to the A train to the Airtrain?

Tuckerton is where DH gets his boat to go diving out at sea.

Make that between 3 and 4 trains depending upon where it is!

I think the plan is that he's going to stay with my sis in Upper Montclair until we find an apartment together. A lot of things need to fall into place and decisions need to be made... should we live in PA or NJ... should I stay with my company or find a new job? yada yada

Amanda, I tried to call your employer to switch my company's 401(k) to them--and give you credit for the sale if it counted. They no longer handle employer accounts under 10MM in assets. So off to Fidelity Investments I went. Perhaps you should too!

Oh No- That's too bad! I guess we need to make sure we are cost effective.
I LOVE my company's funds- we are no-load and have the lowest fund expenses in the industry so more of my money is MINE and not in somebody else's pockets!
You know even if you use Fidelity as a recordkeeper you can still use our funds (investment only).
Even if I were to work at another fund company I will always use my current funds (roll over my plan $ into my IRA w/ my company).
---> Sorry for the thread hijack <-----
