| Jeremy and I are wanting to take a weekend getaway somewhere this Dec. I am still breastfeeding and we decided going out of the country or going the all inclusive tropical location route might not be as fun. (I am going to try to pump, store the milk, and bring back home). So we will stay stateside. We are not really ski people, so that eliminates some places. Any ideas for some really great romantic getaways that would offer good food, shopping, beautiful area and be a nice place to go in the winter ( we don't mind cold... but not too cold) We had thought about NYC. We could go eat at our favorite spots, go ice skating in Rockafellar Center and see NY all lit up for Christmas. I have never been there around Christmas time. Any other good suggestions?? |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | December is perfect for NY.. mainly because of all the christmas decorations and sales and all that... other than that, i'd suggest mickey's world (you know, they do the whole xmasy thing which is actually pretty fun too) or washington dc for their xmas displays (Alexandria is beautiful with the colonial houses and annual carolling they do in the downtown Alexandria area).
