Default Can I Non-Rev this weekend?

Anyone know if I can non-rev this weekend? My hubby flies for Freedome and they don't answer phones or emails at that company. Rumor has it that there are "black out" days during busy travel times, like the weekend after thanksgiving.

Do any of you know where I could find out for sure?

TIA

I'm a girlfriend so I still use buddy passes, but I called Nick and he said if you are a spouse and trying to non-rev there should not be a "black out" for this weekend. Keep in mind it will be difficult to travel-- they say this is one of the busiest travel times of the year. Good luck!

yeah, if your a spouse and have a spouse card, then the black out dates don't apply.. but for buddy pass or companion riders, i'm sure the major blackout dates are yesterday/today (thurs/fri) and sunday/monday. the holidays like thanksgiving, xmas and new years make it very tricky to get around.

also depends on "who" you are flying....I can ask around some, but i need to know who you'd be flying....

Thanks Kristy! I decided against it because I wasn't sure, and figured it would be so busy that I'd get bumped. I fly Delta and have to go through Cin or ATL. I try to avoid ATL when I can.

Many airlines also blackout new routes for the first few months to non-revs. But this weekend was not a good time to fly except for Thursday-Saturday. I also avoid multiple leg trip like the plague when non-revving. There is nothing worse than being stranded in some airport!
