Default Back from San Francisco

...and we loved it! Nick and I had a great time on our trip, although I came back with a bad cold. Our hotel was in a fantastic Union Square location, and only $65/night (thanks Expedia.com!). My parents suggested we take a 3 hour city tour (which is something I wouldn't normally do), but it was excellent and allowed us to see a lot in a short amount of time. We also loved Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf (mmmmmm... crab!). San Francisco is a wonderful city, but very expensive! We need to go back so we can visit wine country. I love travelling!

geez, that bug is going around EVERYWHERE!! Sorry you got a cold on your vaca but glad you had a fun time!!!

For wine country, i've heard the wine train can be a ton of fun cuz your not driving it!

oh and if you can, expand on your stay in San Fran in the trip report section or night on the town section so we can all find out what hotel you used, how you rated it, what you did, what you thought was a "must do/see"... what driving was like.. you know, all that FUN stuff that's great for all of us to know if/when we go there. I forgot to mention that I non-revved- it was my first time too! I was a non-rev virgin.
The CRJ only had 20 people on it both ways so we didn't have any problems and had our own row!
