Definitely a case of counting our chickens before they hatch. . . .
Hubby is biding on an upcoming 24 hour overnight in New York over the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Anybody's guess on whether he actually gets it or not, though he seems confident that he can. He flies in to JFK at 7:30 pm on Wed and leaves at 7:30pm on Thanksgiving Day. We are thinking about using the overnight to try to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning.
I am a little nervous about me non revn' to meet him. There are 4 direct flights on Wed to JFK. And there are 4 direct flights to LGA. (From BNA) How realistic is it that I would be able to get a seat on one of these 8 flights on the eve a long holiday weekend? (Not really willing to do any connections because I would rather not go than to get stuck at a hub.)
Not really sure if I can actually make it home on Thanksgiving Day, so I would probaby go with him back to base and fly home on Friday or we have a car at base and I could just drive back home.
