Default Jet Lag

I'm trying to get my mom to take a day trip with me from CVG-SFO. She keeps telling me she is going to get jet lag too bad and I keep telling her she won't have TIME to get jet lag! We are hopefully going in the AM on 04sep and coming back on the red eye that night or the next morning. I know if we were going to CDG she might have it, but I really don't think she would have enough time to have jet lag!! I know you all travel all the time, so someone please tell me who is right! I have never been that far west, but she has never gone on a day trip. Thanks!!

She'll be fine! It's not like she'll pass out on the street.

the only thing that will get off for her (and you) will be meal times and possibly a bed time. But since you guys are going west, you'll go to bed early, and then be up early too, no big deal!

A few weeks ago I flew from CLT-SFO to meet up with my mom and sister for a weekend- and to be honest my wake up time was the only thing that was a little screwy. Because my mom and sister live in CA it was me that was on a 3 hour time difference. No biggie- it was a great weekend!

My mom is so stubborn she wouldn't even consider going west. We did go to ATL for the day and had a really good time. I didn't realise what a nice city it is!! We went to the mall and that was about it, but we are definitly going back for a weekend and going around the city and things. We had fun, I just wish she wasn't so stubborn.
