| Not sure if this poll has been done before but I'm bored at work and want to expland my horizons. ![]() I haven't been too many places in the US, but my favorite stateside retreat would be Wilmington, NC. Such a cute, quite beach town with lots of original shops, plantations and open air restaurants. My favorite internationally would be Aruba. It's dutch hospitality but virtually American in every other way. You don't have to change currency or learn a new language (although the road signs are a little odd). You can tour the whole island in a day and walk along the beach without being solisited by the locals. Overall very relaxing! Tell me about some other must travel places... |
