How many states have you visited?

There is a poll on the front page of the USA Today newspaper asking "How many states Americans have visited" (can't find a link on their website). Their response numbers are 1-2 states 16%, 3-9 states 22%, 10-19 states 30%, 20-29 states 17%, and 30+ states 16%. I bet us, Jetgirls, far exceed the average!!! Their respondents also counted the Distric of Columbia and Puerto Rico, so feel free to count them also.

By the way it is an open poll, so your response will not be private.

I've been to all but 8 states. I'm missing:
OR, MT, ND, CT, RI, ME, HI, and AK.

I would say there are less than 10 states that I have not been to.

we used to do 'family trips' when we were younger...once we had a set of houseparents that drove all 8 kids to upstate New York in a 12 passenger van...talk about a LONG trip when you are only 10 yrs old!!!

I've been to 5 states I think but then I'm from the UK so I think I can be excused for being less well travelled than the rest of you round the USA.

My husband and I went on a 6 week road trip when we graduated from college. We went all over. Fun times!

That sounds fun! My favorite memories are of me and DH on road trips! A lot of time to bond!

I've been to MANY states since I grew up on the East Coast and then I lived In AZ for a while so I've been to may of the states close by (and Alaska!). While I was in AZ my company flew me around the country to talk to our clients. I also drove cross country with Nick. I feel very fortunate to see much of our beautiful country!
